GR 'Lou Camin Nissart' - Boucle Nice-Est

Une "boucle interne" Nice Est de 21km

Comme je l'expliquais dans ce précédent post, un sentier GR ("Grande randonnée") vient d'être créé tout autour de Nice.

Long de 42km, pour environ 1400m de dénivelé positif, il relie toutes le collines Niçoises, depuis le mont Boron jusqu'à Saint-Roman-de-Bellet, avec même une jonction jusqu'à Lingostière !

Dans ce post, je vous présente une "sous-boucle" de ce parcours qui se concentre sur la partie Est de la ville ; et vous fera parcourir successivement ; le Mont Boron, Le Vinaigrier, ainsi que la colline de Cimiez dans toute sa longueur ; un beau programme qui totalise déjà 18,5km pour 640m de D+.

J'ai testé ce parcours hier moi-même, en particulier la nouveauté qui est la descente de l'observatoire vers Pasteur, pour passer devant l'hôpital et regrimper au niveau du monastère de Cimiez : voir les photos plus bas.

A noter qu'on trouve de l'eau régulièrement tout le long du parcours : au bas de la route forestière, plus loin sur la place du mont Boron, au début du parc du Vinaigrier (juste après la station de traitement d'eau), puis quelques km plus loin sur la parvis du monastère de Cimiez.

An "inner-loop" of 21km in Eastern part of Nice

As I explained in this previous post, a GR trail ("Grande randonnée") has just been created all around Nice.

42km long, for about 1400m of positive elevation, it connects all the hills of Nice, from Mont Boron to Saint-Roman-de-Bellet, with even a junction to Lingostière!

In this post, I present to you an "inner-loop" of this route which focuses on the eastern part of the city; and will take you successively through ; Mount Boron, Le Vinaigrier, as well as the Cimiez hill in all its length; a beautiful program that already totals 18.5km for 640m of D+.

I tested this route yesterday myself, in particular the novelty which is the descent from the observatory to Pasteur, to pass in front of the hospital and climb back up to monastery of Cimiez: see the pictures below.

Note that water is available along the route: at the bottom of the "route forestière",further on the Mont Boron square, at the beginning of the Parc du Vinaigrier (just after the water treatment plant), then a few km further on the square in front of the Cimiez monastery.

et à la fin on se jette dans la mer pour se refroidir !
